China Threat AI
There you have it! The Air Force just opened 4,700 acres across three Alaska bases for up to 12 commercial AI data centers.

FINALLY.

This is exactly what should have been happening years ago instead of burning taxpayer money on custom junk and GOTS nonsense.

Let commercial tech build.
Let the Department of War buy the best.
Let speed win.

This is how you scale compute.
This is how you harden the industrial base.
This is how you compete with China.

But let me be very clear.

This only works if they keep it above board.

No special treatment.
No sweetheart capacity deals.
No fake “unlimited” contracts for $1.
No unlimited-credit shenanigans to buy the market, kill startup competition, and lock the government in before anyone can even bid fairly.

We have already seen enough nonsense from the frontier AI crowd, whether it is OpenAI, Google, Anthropic, xAI, or anyone else trying to corner distribution before the real competition starts.

And yes, the FTC already opened an inquiry into the big AI partnership web, including Microsoft/OpenAI, Amazon/Anthropic, and Google/Anthropic.

Good.

Because if federal AI turns into a rigged land grab disguised as “innovation,” we will repeat the same procurement scam all over again, just with GPUs instead of outdated software licenses.

Open the land.
Open the competition.
Keep it clean.
And let the best builders win.

That is how America wins.
That is how we stop helping China.
That is how we avoid another procurement debacle.

Time to wake up.
