There you have it! SNEAK PEAK! A first sneak peak to see my slide about our writing article AI process at UBH! Most newsrooms trust one person to decide what's true. An editor. A human with opinions, a mortgage, and a boss.
I removed that person from the loop. By design.

Every story on UBH passes through 20+ automated gates before a single reader sees it. Not one editor deciding what matters. A pipeline.
It starts with 110+ sources, pulled across the whole political spectrum, then clustered and de-duped so you're not reading the same spin five times.
Then every claim gets a citation. Every source gets a left-to-right lean tag and a bias score.
Then the fact-check layer verifies the claims. Anything it can't verify gets softened or cut. If something looks off, the whole story goes on hold. Fail-safe.
Then real images, never fake logos. Then per-article audio narration so you can listen on your drive. Then layout checks, a dedupe pass, and a multi-gate sign-off before it publishes to web, apps, and the source bar goes live.
I do not choose the stories. I do not write them. I do not approve them.
