AI Workforce
There you have it. On the same day, Anthropic published two documents.

One begged the world to "slow or temporarily pause" frontier AI development.

The other admitted that 80% of the code merged into Anthropic's production systems in May was written by Claude — not by humans.

JOKES WRITE THEMSELVES.

The company telling you AI is moving too fast for society to control is the same company reporting an 8x jump in code output per engineer — driven entirely by that same AI running semi-autonomously.

Claude is now executing 12-hour autonomous work streams. Debugging live environments. Delegating tasks to its own sub-agents.

So let me get this straight.

If your AI already writes the majority of your production code and runs half-day autonomous missions without a human in the loop — haven't you already crossed the exact line you're warning everyone else not to cross?

A "pause" that requires every lab in every country to stop simultaneously, with verified compliance, for software you can hide in a basement — that is not a safety proposal.

It is a moat.

Warn the world your technology is dangerous. Position your own framework as the only cure. Collect the policy influence and the enterprise contracts that follow. The smaller competitors can't afford the compliance infrastructure you're proposing to build — and conveniently, you're volunteering to build it.

Meanwhile the engineers at every other company are watching their job market compress in real time. That's not a forecast. That's arithmetic.

This is exactly what my book "Replacement" is about — the AI revolution isn't coming for your job. It already took it. Out July 28.

Read every "safety" warning with the financial incentive in mind.
