There you have it! I can't keep up with every cyberattack anymore. Can you?
Breaches, ransomware, exploited flaws. Every single day. By our own count, Unbiased Headlines has written about 350 cyber articles since May. That's almost 3 a day, and it's still just a slice of what's happening.
So here is my idea: UBHCyber.
One place to track cyber attacks, breaches and flaws, as they happen. Same Unbiased Headlines concept. Just the facts.
Nothing is built yet. This is the plan:
1. Watchlists and alerts
• Follow the companies, vendors and products you rely on. Or a threat group, a CVE, a sector, a country.
• Get told by push or email when something happens to them.
2. Living incident pages
• One page per major incident, updated as facts come out.
• Every claim tagged: confirmed, claimed by attacker, company denies, unverified or disputed.
• What was taken. What to do. A change log so you see what changed.
3. Attack scoreboard
• A weekly view of attacks by sector, country and group.
• Confirmed vs claimed. Easy to share with your team or your board.
Plus the basics: short and full versions of every story, sources, audio, email digests and breaking alerts. Same account as Unbiased Headlines.
Other ideas I'm weighing:
• A patch-now list for the products you watch
• A regulatory deadline clock
Now, question for you!
What's missing that you'd check every day? What are you missing?
Tell me in the comments. I read them all!
