Yale and Fortune just confirmed what I have been warning about for years: AI won't kill your job. It will kill the PATH to your first one.
Entry-level positions are disappearing first. The junior roles. The internships. The first rung of the ladder that every single one of us climbed to get where we are today.
McKinsey: 32% of companies expect workforce cuts of 3%+ within the next 12 months. Goldman Sachs: AI is already eliminating 16,000 American jobs per month. Anthropic's own CEO says half of all entry-level white-collar jobs could be wiped out within five years.
