There you have it! 65% of the people reading Unbiased Headlines today are over 55, and I love every one of you, but that number worries me.
Younger people didn't stop caring about what's happening in the world. They stopped going to places that look like a newspaper from 1998. Worse, they use TikTok. Uh. So we're trying something a little crazy.
It's called UBHWorld. It's a 3D city that runs right in your browser, on your phone or your laptop, no download. You walk around a NYC style city and the billboards and screens on every building are showing real UBH headlines as they come in. Defense, energy, finance, whatever is breaking that day, it's up there on the buildings while you explore.
And there's stuff hidden all over the place. You find things, you collect badges and coins, and eventually you can win small real prizes like stickers, copies of my book, and swag from sponsors.
I'll be honest, I've been walking around this city for hours like a nut, jumping off things and switching to first person to look up at the screens, and I keep finding cool little things tucked in corners I didn't know were there. I love it.
This is an early experiment, not a polished product, and it has bugs.
So I really want your feedback, especially if you're 18 to 55 or you have kids that age. What would make you actually spend time in there? More games, more hidden stuff, multiplayer, leaderboards, your own avatar, local news, something we haven't thought of?
Tell me your ideas in the comments. I'm reading all of them.
